Helen Alta Hahn, 72, formerly of 1720 Sycamore St., Niles, died Friday at 9 a.m. at Pawating Hospital following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 19,1913 in Solon Springs, Wis. She married Earle Hahn Jan. 23, 1932 in Niles. He died in 1945. She retired in 1979 from the Central Supply Department of Pawating Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Low of Niles, Nancy Larson of Naples, Fla. and Betty Opfer of Niles; a brother, Charlie Robbins of Niles; five sisters, Alice Farrell, Frances Newman, Edna Siderits and Minnie Wiggins, all of Niles; and Vivian Ferris of Buchanan; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services are Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pifer-Smith Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Pletcher of Coulters Chapel Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
