John Jack Callahan, 68, of 309 W. Union St., Berrien Springs, formerly of Niles, died at 5 a.m. today in his home following an illness of four weeks.
Mr. Callahan was born Aug. 13, 1893, in Dubuque, Iowa, and had lived in Niles for 25 years before moving a short time ago to Berrien Springs.
Surviving is a brother, Clem Callahan, of South Bend.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Pifer Funeral Home with the Rev. A.O. Marialke, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
