Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the Pifer Funeral Home here for Miles H. Dodd, 84, of 6920 Oglesley Avenue, Chicago, member of the Chicago Livestock Commission who died at 10:45 a.m. Friday in his home. The Rev. John MacLachlan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church here, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Dodd, who for 40 years was associated with the Clay Robinson Commission House in Chicago as a steer salesman, is survived by his wife, Nora; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Mee and Mrs. Clara Gooze, and a niece, Mrs. Harold Bates, of Niles. He was born Oct. 13, 1872, in Chicago.
The body will lie in state at the Don Ellon Funeral Home at 77th and Jeffrey Boulevard, Chicago, until 10 am., Saturday. Friends may call at the funeral home here beginning Monday evening.
