Miss Mary Huntly Claimed by Death
Miss Mary A. Huntly passed away this morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Annie Huntly, 706 S. Fourth Street. She was born Jan. 30, 1836 on the farm on Yankee street which her father patented from the government in 1834. She had lived all of her life on the home farm with the exception of the last few years which she spent in Niles. For nearly six months she had been confined to her bed with a broken hip and infirmities of age.
Miss Huntly is survived by one sister, Miss Nellie Huntly of Niles and by two sisters-in-law: Mrs Eliza Huntly of Ipswich, S.D., and Mrs. Annie Huntly of this city. Sixteen nephews and nieces also survive.
The funeral services will be conducted at Mrs. Huntly's home, 706 S. Fourth street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by Rev. Alfred Trenerry, pastor of the First Baptist church of which the deceased was a faithful member.
