NILES--Robert Edward Hubbard, 52, 1922 S. 17th st., died at 5:10 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
An employe at Garden city Fan Co. he was born April 7, 1923 in Modock, Ill. and had lived here for 20 years, coming from Princeton, Ind.
On Jan. 22, 1951 in Princeton, he married the former Mary Lucille Loyd, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Eva Watkins of Niles; three sons, Michael of Niles and Patrick Alan and Anthony Alan, both at home; and a daughter Stacey Michaell, at home.
Private funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pifer Chapel of the Swem-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Bauer of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
