FORMER RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Agnes Allen Clark, 81, widow of Herman Clark, formerly of this city, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning at the residence in South Bend. Death was caused by the infirmities of age and heart disease.

Mrs. Clark was born in Ontario, Canada, Dec. 11, 1851 and came to Niles with her husband about 40 years ago.  Mr. Clark was in charge of the old water power grist mill on the St. Joseph river. After Mr. Clark's death in 1913, she went to South Bend to make her home with her two daughters, Agnes and Mae.  She is also survived by a son, John Clark, Niles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at the South Bend residence with burial in Silverbrook cemetery, Niles.
