Maria Rose

Maria Elena Rose, 45, 121 South Michigan Street, died 4 p.m. Tuesday at Pawating Hospital following a brief illness.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist church, Niles and a former bus driver for Dial-A-Ride.
She was born Aug. 15, 1941 in Key West, Fla. and moved to Niles in 1961.
Her mother, Mary Symonette, Key West, survives.
Other surviving relatives include: two sons, Michael and Harold, Niles; one daughter, Carol Lewis, Dallas; one brother, Lewis Knowls, Key West, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. W.L. Daniel officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
Friends may call at Halbritter Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
