Harold C. Finley

Harold C. Finley, Sr., 61, 906 Ferry St., a lifetime resident of this city, died at 8:40 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital following a six months' illness.
Mr. Finley who had worked for 38 years as house service man for the Michigan Bell Telephone Co., office in Niles, was born Jan. 25, 1898, in Niles was was married on Jan. 29, 1923, in St. Joseph to Martha Roberts, who survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Roberson, Niles; a son, Harold Finley, Jr., Niles; four grandsons; and a sister, Mrs. Percy Gay, Niles.
He was a member of John W. Moore Lodge, F. & A. M. Full Masonic rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Kiger and Halbritter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday.
