William Mansfield

William H. Mansfield, 89, o f415 S. 9th St., Niles, died at 9:16 a.m. Wednesday at Pawating Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 6, 1893 in Yarmouth,Maine and had lived in the Niles area since 1916 coming from Maine.
He married Annis B. Crumb on Dec. 26, 1917 in St. Joseph; she preceded him in death on March 5, 1974.
Surviving are two sons, Paul H. Mansfield of Niles and Carl E. Mansfield, Sr., of Niles; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Wood, of Niles; and Brother, Myron L. Mansfield of Stuyvesant Falls, M.Y.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Halbritter Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon D. Everett of the Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Halbritter Funeral Home.
