Rev. Gordon B. Jackson

Niles--The Rev. Gordon B. Jackson, 1620 Hickory St., died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in Pawating Hospital, where he was admitted Tuesday.
A clerk at the Niles Post Office and minister of the First Church of God, Rev. Jackson was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Nelson, Neb. He had lived here since 1937, coming from Nelson. An April 24, 1948, in Niles, he married the former Gloria M. Baird, who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Additional survivors include a son, Robert E. of Niles; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Linda) VanDePutte of Niles; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry O. Jackson; his grandmother, Mrs. Izora Jackson of Niles, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Saturday in the First Baptist Church.
