Marion S. Brickel

Marion S. Brickel, 87, of 47 South Fourth street, died Thursday in Pawating Hospital after a five week illness.
He was born in Tipton, Ind., Feb. 19, 1868 and married Anna M. Garlanger, April 3, 1892 and she died May 14, 1948. He then married Rebecca Fisher, June 2, 1952, who survives. He came to Niles from Jackson in 1891 and worked as a switchman on the railroad and was grocer and operated a collection for 30 years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. , Sunday at the Kiger Funeral Home with the Dr. T.M. Greenhoe of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
