Imogene Anglin, 75

Imogene Anglin, 75, of South Bend, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, Sept. 28, 2010 at Healthwin Specialized Care in South Bend.
She was born Aug. 16, 1935 in Steele, Mo. to the late Lummie and Ida Lee (Pitts) Anglin.
Imogene worked for many years in the Green Giant Factory. Imogene enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, camping and crafts. She also enjoyed traveling including many trips to The Holy Land, Nashville and Brown County.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby Anglin.
Imogene is survived by a brother, Frank (Mona) Anglin of Niles; two sisters, Carolyn (Floyd) Vance of Niles and Sabra (H. John) Ferenczi of Lake Alfred, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Anglin of Niles; and many nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with an interment to follow at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.
Memorial contributions may be made in Imogene’s memory to the American Cancer Society or American Kidney Fund.
