REPINE BABY DIES; POISON DISCOUNTED

An hour's illness of the effects of an enlarged thymus gland brought death suddenly Monday afternoon to Marda Joy Repine, 13-months-old daughter of Mr.  and Mrs. Ernest Repine, 23 North Lincoln avenue.

The child became desperately ill shortly after noon in her home and for a time it was believed she had awalled some heavily drugged pills. That theory was discredited when a check indicated that only medicine available to her was a box of harmless iron tablets.

An autopsy, after her death at 1:30 in Pawating hospital, indicated the enlarged thymus had proved fatal.
