SUDDEN DEATH OF WELL KNOWN NILES RESIDENT
Mrs. K. F. Zimmerman Failed to Rally From Operation

Mrs. Louise Zimmerman, aged 15 years, wife of Kasper Frederick Zimmerman, passed away yesterday afternoon about 3 o'clock at her home, 107 North Fifth street. Mrs. Zimmerman had been ill three weeks with a tubercular infection of the tonsils. Yesterday at noon she submitted to an operation, with Dr. Bartlett of St. Joseph, a throat specialist assisting. She failed to rally from the anaesthetic, her entire system having been affected by blood poison and her heart was weak. Her death was unexpected and came as a great shock to her family.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Niles May 21 1866. Her maiden name was Louise Rasbach. On December 18, 1885, she was married to Mr. Zimmerman. Eight children were born to them and of these five are left with the husband to mourn the death of devoted wife and mother. The five are Raymond Zimmerman, Jackson; Mrs. Roy Merritt, Mrs. Bertha Palmer, Mrs. Harold Wideman, and Miss Allene Zimmerman, all of Niles. Besides the husband and children Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by her sister, Mrs. Annie Rasbach Hansler, widow of Frank Ransler[sic], of Pamomo, Calif. Mr. Hansler, who is a former resident of Niles, died just two weeks before the death of Mrs. Zimmerman, and on account of her recent bereavement, Mrs. Hansler will be unable to come to Niles for the funeral services.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of St. John's church. She was highly respected resident of the city in which she had spent her entire life.

The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the house and at 2 o'clock form St. John's church. Rev. F. Rahn will officiate. Interment will occur at Silver Brook cemetery.
