The first death from scarlet fever since the epidemic broke out a few wees ago in Niles occurred last evening when the fourteen months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Reprogle passed away last night about 10:45 p.m.

This afternoon, Undertaker Price, assisted by Mr.  Reprogle, who boards with Mrs. C.J. Smith, Short street, opposite the house where the family lives, took the body to Silver Brook cemetery where interment occurred without funeral services.
