News in Brief: FRANK BEYER FUNERAL
Funeral services for Frank R. Beyer, 49, Michigan Central railroad machinist, who died on Wednesday morning at this home, 304 S. Lincoln avenue, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Rutherford Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Sumner Young, pastor of the Evangelical church will officiate. Burial will be made in Silver Brook cemetery. Mr. Beyer's death followed four weeks illness with Bright's disease. He was born in Matamoras, Penn., on August 20 1886. He was married to Miss Mary Mantke of Grand Forks, N.D., in 1910 in St. Paul, Minn., For 14 years Mr. Beyer was employed as a machinist in Grand Forks before coming to Niles six years ago. He is survived by a widow and by one daughter, Edna May, of Niles, by two brothers, Jacob, of Chicago and Arthur of Matamoras, and by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Meyer of Matamoras. The deceased was a member of the machinist union. Friends may call at the Rutherford Funeral home to view the body.
