MRS. ALICE BONINE DIES AT HOME OF HER SON
Widow of Isaac A. Bonine Passes Away Sunday at Cassopolis

Mrs. Alice Bonine, widow of Isaac A. Bonine, who had made her home for several years with her son, Dr. James Gordon Bonine, in Cassopolis, died on Sunday evening.

Alice Amanda Wilkinson, daughter of Louis and Ruth Clark Wilkinson, was born in Chestnut Level, Penn., on Dec. 31, 1849. her parents moved to Michigan when she was five years old. They resided first in Berrien Springs and then came to Niles where she attended school. She was married to Mr. Bonine on Oct. 7, 1872. He preceded her in death in 1922. To this union was born on son, James Gordon Bonine, who with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, survives her.

The funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Methodist Episcopal church in Niles on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. W.W. Slee, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Silver Brook cemetery.

Niles News in Brief: FUNERAL MRS. BONINE

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Bonine, widow of Isaac Bonine were held this morning in the chapel of the Methodist church with the pastor the Rev. W.W. Slee officiating. Burial was made in the family lot. Mrs. Bonine died on Sunday evening at the home of her son, Dr. Gordon Bonine in Cassopolis at the age of 80 years.
