Mrs. John D. Elder, who was born in Niles and resided here until 20 years ago, died Thursday at Orlando, Fla.

The Trinity Episcopal Church here will be scene of funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. John W. Carlton, pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Mrs. Elder was born here the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jacks of Herkimer, N.Y., and Phil . . .[missing line] here in June, 1928. He survives.

Other survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Everett Holles of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. A.C. Wiesberg of Dowagiac; two brothers, Arthur Jacks of Herkimer, N.Y., and Philip Jacks of California; two sons, Jacks Kelley of Orlando, Fla., and Tom Kelley of Montgomery, Ala.; and two stepsons, Donald Elder of New York City and Richard Elder of Niles.

Mr. and Mrs. Elder moved to Chicago from Niles approximately 20 years ago and moved from Chicago to Orlando five years ago.
