Mrs. Frank North, 93, of 410 Michigan St., died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, in the Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. North was born Nov. 25, 1869 in Napoleon. She came to Niles in 1921. Her husband, Frank, operated a grocery on Michigan St., for many years. He died in 1959.
Surviviors[sic] include two daughters, Miss Marjorie North, at home, and Mrs. Roy Heberle, Niles; a grandson, Robert Whitacre, Adrian; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Progress Club and the WSCS and the Berrien Class of the First Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, in the Pifer Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Maurice McKean, pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home beginning this evening.
