Donald H. Bachman
Jan. 20, 1902 – May 8, 1929
Donald H. Bachman, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C Bachman, 1322 N. Fifth Street, died this morning at 8 o’clock at his parents home. The death of the young man brings to an end of losing fight against a complication of disease which has caused him to suffer from impaired health for about six years. During the time he had been in New Mexico and Florida and other places and after a sojourn in each of the different places his health seemed in a measure restored and he resumed his work. For the last years he has operated a filling station in North Fifth Street but about three weeks ago he became ill again and since that time little hope for his recovery was held.
Mr. Bachman was born in Niles on January 20, 1902, one of three children of Mrs. and Mrs. Fred C. Bachman. Another of the three children, Clarence died at the age of seven years about 20 years ago. Besides the parents, one brother, Earl of Niles survives. The young man received his education in Niles public schools. He was known to many in Niles and many friends mourn his death.
The funeral plans are not completed but the services will be held probably on Friday afternoon.
