SERVICES SATURDAY FOR MRS. BACHMAN

Resident of Niles 43 Years Passes After Three Weeks’ Illness.

Mrs. Anna Bachman, 74, died at her home, 829 Clay Street, at 10 o’clock Thursday night following a six weeks illness.

Born in Germany on September 14, 1862, Mrs. Bachman had lived in Niles of the past 43 years.

She is survived by two sons, Herman of Niles and George of Ypsilanti, also five stepsons, Hartman, William and Emil Bachman of Niles and Fred and Charles Bachman of Buchanan.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Turner and Pifer funeral Home by the Rev. Theo Eisen. Burial will be held in Silverbook Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel, but are requested to omit flowers.

Niles News In Brief:  BACHMAN RITES HELD

The grandsons, Clarence, Richard, Roy, Lyle, Earl and Vernon Bachman served as pallbearers today for the funeral of Mrs. Anna Bachman, 74, who died Thursday night at her home, 329 Clay street.  The services were conducted at 2 o'clock at the Turner and Pifer chapel by the Rev. Theo Eisen.  Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery.
