Mrs. Amanda M. Karno, 75, of 708 Grant St., died at 1:55 p.m. yesterday in Pawating Hospital. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Karno was born March 24, 1893, in Bonsville, Ill. and moved to Niles from Chicago in 1920.
Mrs. Karno is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Susie Dandurand of Kenosah[sic], Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Eunice Bryant of Niles; a brother, George Stack of Edwardsburg and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Monday in the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leonard F. Putnam, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
