JOSEPHINE WENZEL FUNERAL TUESDAY

Mrs. Josephine Wenzel, 78, formerly of 318 Woodruff street, died Sunday afternoon at 12:30 in the Quick rest home, River Bluff, after an illness of six years of a heart ailment.

Her death came less than three months after that of her husband, Martin Wensle, who died in Niles May 9.

A resident of Niles 60 years, Mrs. Wenzel was born In St. Joseph county, Indiana, near South Bend, July 21, 1865. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Floyd Higgins and Rudolph Wenzel, both of Niles, and James and Martin Wenzel, Jr. Both of South Bend; a brother, Henry Amon, Niles; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call in the Rutherford funeral home where the service will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. Theo Eisen, pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
