Mrs. Winifred S. Bath, 76, of 1536 Huron St., died at 7:55 a.m. Thursday in the Barrett Rest Home, Buchanan. She had been in failing health for four years.
A native of Wimbourne, England, she was born June 8, 1887, and came to Niles in 1909. On May 20, 1909, she married Eugene R. Bath here in Niles. The husband survives.
Mrs. Bath was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dwight Spencer, Niles; a son, Edwin G. Bath, East Lansing; a sister, Mrs. Ada Spencer, Wimborne; one brother, Charles Gilbert-Poole, Dorset, England; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. John G. Carlton, pastor, officiating. Burial in Silverbrook Cemetery.
