Mrs. Gladys M. Hertel, 47, of rural route one, died at 4 p.m. . .[illegible] . .
She was born on Aug. 3, 1905, in Berket, Ind., the daughter of John Cochran and Mrs. Anabelle Matson, both of Elkhart, and both of whom survive. She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle in Bertrand.
Surviving in addition to her parents are: her former husband, Herman; a daughter, Frieda Ann, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Garrow of Niles and Mrs. Eilene Lemon of Elkhart; two brothers, George Cochran of Elkhart and Gerald Hawke of Niles.
Griends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
