    Margaret E. White, 92, of 1820 River Bluff Road, Niles, died at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at  Bry-Fern Care Center in Berrien Center following an extended illness.
    No funeral services or visitation is scheduled. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Born Sept. 22, 1900, in Bertrand Township, she was a lifetime resident.
    On Feb. 12, 1919, in Niles she married the later Maxwell Cameron White, who preceded her in death in August 1952.
    She was a retired payroll clerk for Tucker Freight Line.
    She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, was past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a former member of the Pokagon United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include a daughter, Maxine E. Jones of Niles; one grandson and three great-grandsons.  On[sic] son, William E. White preceded her in death on Aug 3, 1991.
    Funeral arrangements were handled by Halbritter Funeral Home.

    Funeral services for Olive Elaine Atkinson, 82, of 2280 Warren Road, Niles, are Tuesday at 2 p.m., graveside, in Silverbrook Cemetery by the Rev. James A. Goodbow of First Presbyterian Church, Niles.
    Mrs. Atkinson died Thursday at 9:08 p.m. at Pawating Hospital, Niles, following an extended illness.
    Born June 1, 1910, in Washington, Penn., she lived most of her life in Michigan, coming to Niles in 1958.
    On March 5, 1940, in Alma, she married Everett Wesley Atkinson, who survives.
    She was a retired employee of Clark Equipment in Buchanan.
    Other survivors include three daughters, Linda Pamela Davis of Cloride, Ariz.; Yvonne Cummins of Yuma, Ariz., and Elena Kristen Hensley of South Bend, Ind.; a son, William Stuart Atkinson of Niles; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Larsen of Alpena; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Hooker of Orrville, Ohio, the widow of William Austin Grosenburg.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Jon Wesley Atkinson in 1963.
    There will be no public visitation. Arrangements were made at Halbritter Funeral Home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

    Funeral services for Alexsandra L. "Sandy" Myrick 84, of 1333 Wells St., Niles, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at Halbritter Funeral Home.
    Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Myrick died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at Pawating Hospital following an extended illness.
    Born Oct. 5, 1908, in Eveleth, Minn., Myrick moved to Niles in 1942, coming from Minnesota.
    She was married to Mr. Tzombonakis, who preceded her in death. On July 5, 1964, in Niles, she married the late Daniel P. Myrick, who preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1971.
    She was retired from the Four Flags, Hotel.
    Survivors include a step-daughter, Rosemary Echoff of Lynbrook, N.Y.
    Friends may call one hour prior to Saturday's funeral services.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice or the Berrien County Guardianship Service.

    Funeral services for Edith E. Carter, 73, 2457 U.S. 12, Niles, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Arnold O. Schaap of Edwardsburg officiating.
    Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Carter died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at Silverbrook Manor following an extended illness.
    Born Oct. 21, 1919, in Piggott, Ark., she lived in Niles since 1952, coming from Pollard, Ark.
    On Dec. 13, 1937, in Piggott, she married the late Otto G. Carter, who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1983.
    She was a retired custodian for Niles Community Schools.
    Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Echevarria of Niles, a son, Otto D. Carter of Niles; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Letha J. Bell of Decatur, Ind.
    Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Halbritter Funeral Home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Cancer Service.

  Funeral services for John F. Cuddeback, 68, of 325 North Street, Bennington, Vt., are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Tessari, of St. John's United Church of Christ, officiating.
    Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Cuddeback died at 10:35 a.m. Sunday at Vermont Veteran's Home in Bennington, following an extended illness.
    Born Dec. 8, 1924, in Niles, he was a resident of Bennington since 1983, coming from Marshfield, Mass.
    He was vice-president of Andrew G. Gordon Inc. in Norwell, Mass. from 1965-83.
    He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.  He was a graduate of Niles High School, held a bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College and a master's degree from the University of Maine.
    Survivors include a daughter, Diane Merrill of Arlington, Mass.; two grandsons and a sister, Florence Cuddeback of Niles.
    Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Halbritter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harry (Mary R. Baird) Gephart

    The remains of the late Mrs. Harry Gephart, who died Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Probasco, in Chicago, were brought here this afternoon at one o'clock for burial. They were conveyed to Trinity church, where the funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.J. DeCouix. Burial in Silver Brook cemetery.
    Mrs. Gephart, who was 69 years of age, was for many years a resident of this city, and well known, and highly respected.  She leaves five children: Mrs. Charles Harris, of Mackinac City, Mich.; Mrs. Robert Probasco and Miss Mae, of Chicago; Mrs. Frank Langston, of Niles, and Harry, of Manistee.
