Retired Railway Worker Dies
William H. Dickeson, 82, 622 Howard street, retired railway man and resident of Niles since boyhood, died Saturday at his home.
Dickeson was born in Buffalo, N.Y., April 16, 1863, and moved to Niles when a young boy. His wife died December 13, 1930. He is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Frank Seibert, Mrs. Albert coffinger, Mrs. Kenneth Hawken, Mrs. Herman Kloffenstein, Mrs. Harold Lewis and three sons: William, Jr., John and Lawrence, all of Niles.
Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Tillie Kelling and Gertrude Dickeson, 46 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home until Tuesday morning. From there the body will be taken to the St. John's Evangelical church of which Dickeson was a member, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Eisen officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
