Filbert Williams,1342 Silverbrook avenue, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in his home after an extended illness.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Williams, of Niles; his wife, Grace; his children, Naomi, David, Charles and Donna, at home and Harold, Milford and LaVerne, of Niles; 13 grandchildren; four brothers, Henry, of South Bend, Benny, Lloyd and Edgar, of Niles; . . [illegible].
He was born on Jan. 15, 1889, in Michigan City, Ind., and came here from Michigan City. He has lived here most of his life, and was a painter and decorator by trade.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 4 p.m Saturday. Elder W.J. Coad, pastor of the Full Gospel Assembly on North Eleventh street, will officiate, and burial will be in the Silverbrook Cemetery.
