Mrs. Laura Louise Smith, 54, of 1218 Grant St., died at 4:15 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital where she had been a patient for day.
Mrs. Smith was born in Niles Jan. 15, 1914. She was married Sept. 5, 1941 in Niles to Ralph C. Smith who survives. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and of the Ladies Historical Club of Niles.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert B. Julius of Goldsboro, N.C. and Mrs. Peter Aaron of Columbia, Mo.; a son Peter W. Smith of Niles and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Vincent J. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
