Fred Luther, 84, Niles Ex-Resident, Dies Near Galien
GALIEN, May 19—Fred C. Luther, 84, a retired farmer, whose daughters, Miss Agnes Luther and Mrs. Charles Loose, live in Niles, died Thursday night at 11 in this farm home at the edge of Galien. He had been in ill health the last few years.
He was born in Germany May 1, 1860, and left Niles for Galien 33 years ago, where he had lived since on a small farm.
Surviving are two other daughters, Miss Lena Luther, South Bend, and Mrs. Bodie Foster, Galien; a son, Frank Luther at home and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the R.J. Kenney funeral home in Galien, where services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 by the Rev. Emerson Minor, Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

LUTHER FUNERAL
Services for Fred C. Luther, 84, retired farmer of Galien who died Thursday night were conducted in the Kenney funeral home in Galien Monday afternoon. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery here. Survivors include two daughters from Niles—Miss Agnes Luther and Mrs. Charles Loose.
