PAUL MAXANT, 66, TAKEN BY DEATH
Paul E. Maxant, 66, was stricken with a heart attack and died suddenly in his home at 12 Marmont street Thursday afternoon at 6. He had been in poor health the last two years.
He was born in Paris, France, July 3, 1877, and came to Niles from Chicago 20 years ago. He was employed in the window department of The Kawneer Company prior to his death.
He married Miss Amanda Ledue in Chicago in 1904.
Surviving are the wife, a daughter, Mrs. Fred A. Wait, Kalamazoo, and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rutherford funeral home, where services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 by the Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
