Lemuel T. Waugh, 90, of 2362 Reum Road, died at 3:23 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital, where he had been a patient since May 7. He had been ill two weeks.
Mr. Waugh, a former employe of the Kawneer Company, and a retired farmer, was born Dec. 24, 1872, in MacQuoetta, Iowa. He came to Niles from Pocahontas, Iowa, in 1928. His wife, Maude, died Oct. 29, 1957.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman F. Miller, Niles, and Mrs. Howard M. Johnson, Griffith, Ind.; a son, Floyd, Niles,; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Kiger Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon D. Everett, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
