Mrs. Elsie D. Hamman, 59, died in her home at 1605 Cass street early today. She had been ill only one day.
Mrs. Hamman was born Nov. 25, 1893, in Philadelphia, Pa., and came here from New York City in July of 1936.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the D.A.V. Auxiliary.
Her husband, Thomas, survives, along with one daughter, Miss Beatrice Hamman, Kalamazoo, Mich., and one sister living in New York City.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., with Rev. T.M. Greenhoe officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
