Mrs. Anna Knott Dies on Saturday
Mrs. Anna Malinda Knott, 80, rural route three, died Saturday at 5:45 p.m. at her home on Pucker street, after an illness of five years.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick W. Knott, at home; one son, Adolph Knott, Niles, four daughters Mrs. Dick Norris, 1102 North Fifth street; Mrs. Edwin Radewald, rural route three; Mrs. Ebon Ullrey, rural route three and . . . [illegible] . . .one sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Knott and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was born in Niles township, Dec. 8, 1865, and has been a life-long resident of the community. She had lived in the same home for 55 years.
On Dec. 8, 1889, she was married in her home to Frederick W. Knott, with the Rev. Fred Rahn officiating.
The body was at the Kiger funeral until Monday at 3 p.m. when it was taken to the residence where friends may call until Tuesday noon.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. from St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church, with the Rev. Theo Eisen officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemtery[sic]. She had been a member of St. John's church.
