Albert S. Stone, 111 Emmons street, died at 9 a.m. this morning in Pawating hospital, after an illness of one week.
He is survived by his widow, Jessie; a son, Sidney, of Mobile, Ala., and a daughter, Alice V. Stone, at home; one grandchild; a brother, Aubrey, of South Bend, and a brother, Avery, of Niles; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Sanders, of Lake Mary, Fla., Mrs. Orville Pegg, Mackville, Tenn., Mrs. Louis Fry and Mrs. Charles Crouch, of Morrison, Tenn.
Stone was born in Summitville, Tenn., on March 8, 1893, and came here from Indiana in 1932. He was employed at the Tyler Fixture corporation.
Stone was a member of the Niles Moose, American Legion and the 40 and 8 club.
Funeral arrangements which are being made by Pifer funeral home, are incomplete.
