Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, widow of the late Wm. Phillips, of Bertrand, died on Sunday morning, aged about 73 years. She was buried in Silver Brook cemetery. Mrs. P. has no relatives in this country, but has been in receipt of a large income from property in England. She owned a farm of about 40 acres in Bertrand township and had considerable property besides, and there is no one in this country to see to it.
