Edward Reum, 51, former Niles resident and foreman at the Kawneer Company plant in Cynthiana, Ky., died at 10 a.m. Wednesday while at work.
Mr. Reum was born Feb. 20, 1906, in Niles and had lived here until his transfer to the Kentucky plant. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent at Cynthiana, the Appliance Products Management Organization and Cynthiana chapter of the National Management Association.
Surviving are: his wife Ada Snyder Reum; two daughters, Mrs. A.E. Aram, Jr., of Lexington, Ky., and Miss Dale Reum, at home; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Maurice Yonker and Mrs. John Jaroch, both of Niles, and Mrs. Lola Scholl and Mrs. Larned Williams, both of Inglewood, Calif., and three brothers, William A. and Herman Reum, both of Niles, and Clyde Reum, of Espanota, N. Mex.
Friends may call at the Kiger-Halbritter Funeral Home here beginning Friday afternoon. Committal services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Silverbrook Cemetery with the Rev. John G. Carlton, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church here, officiating.
Funeral services were held today at the Church of the Advent in Cynthiana, Ky.
