MRS. J.H. RICHARDSON
Highly esteemed lady passed away last night
Entered into rest April 28, 1914 at 11:40 p.m., Genevieve Louise Savignac Richardson. She was born in Detroit in 1828. Married in that city to Dr. John H. Richardson on Nov. 15, 1848.
After residing in Monroe, Michigan for eight years the family removed to Niles, where their home has been ever since. She had become to so great an extent identified with our city that her loss will be felt to an unusual degree, even outside those nearest and dearest to her.
Tactful, courteous and energetic, she made a most successful president of Trinity church's Woman's Guild for many years, and attended the church services regularly as long as her health permitted.
Sympathetic and loyal in friendship, home-loving, vivacious and fond of society, hospitable to an unusual degree, we who enjoyed her friendship feel that her place can never be filled. Our sympathy reaches out to the bereaved family, especially to the partner of her joys and sorrows during the sixty-six years of wedded harmony which was a noted example of love "true" and "tried."
