Mr. Rutledge was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rutledge, pioneer residents of Niles, and was born here March 12, 1855. On May 28, 1880, Mr. Rutledge was married to Miss Harriet Solloway, who survives him. He leaves no other near relatives.
