Mrs. Cynthia Leota Hemminger, 712 Maple street, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday in her home. She had been ill for about three years.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence; one son and three daughters, Delbert Susan, of Union Pier, Mrs. Walter Sutton, Mrs. John Burge, and Mrs. Albert Schrumpf, all of Niles; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her brothers, Ed. and Orville Michael, of Burlington, Ind., Bert Michael, of Kirland, Ind., and Earl Michael, of Kokomo, Ind.
Mrs. Hemminger was born in Carroll county, Ind., on Jan. 21, 1876, and came here from South Bend four years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. C.K. Graham, Baptist pastor, Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
