The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery meet the third Thursday each month at 7 p.m. at the Niles Law Enforcement Center, located at Main St and Silverbrook Ave.
In addition to discussing progress made with our restoration and education projects, we feature a Guest Speaker. Past speakers have given talks about the history of Niles, gravestone restoration, and biographies of leading citizens. Many of our members also have interests in genealogy and local history. Members, nonmembers, and guests are always welcome to attend at no cost.
The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery monthly meeting will be Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
at the Law Enforcement Complex, 1500 Silverbrook, Niles.
The guest speaker: Dave Roeder and the Brandywine History Club will give a presentation on Historic-Boston, Massachusetts".
Over 40 students traveled to Boston on a 5 day school trip last summer. Colonial cemeteries and historic buildings from this trip will be highlighted in this program. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Carol Bainbridge, Director Fort St. Joseph Museum "Early Berrien County Settlers: Where did they come from? What did they do?"
This program will present information on the men and women who first settled Berrien County, Michigan and were responsible for its agricultural, industrial and commercial development. Over the years hundreds of people from many foreign lands settled in this area. We will examine where they came from, what the factors were that influenced them to come this area, and what theiroccupations were once they got here.
The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery will hold their monthly meeting Thursday, February 19th, at 7pm. We will meet at the Law Enforcement Complex, 1500 Silverbrook St. Niles.
