The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery meet the third Thursday each month at 7 p.m. at the Niles Law Enforcement Center, located at Main St and Silverbrook Ave.

In addition to discussing progress made with our restoration and education projects, we feature a Guest Speaker. Past speakers have given talks about the history of Niles, gravestone restoration, and biographies of leading citizens. Many of our members also have interests in genealogy and local history. Members, nonmembers, and guests are always welcome to attend at no cost.

January 2013 Open House

The Friends of Silverbrook will host an open house at its annual meeting on Thursday, January 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Complex, 1600 Silverbrook Ave. in Niles.

Guest Carol Bainbridge, Director of the Fort St. Joseph Museum, will give a presentation at 6:30 p.m. entitled "The Chapin House -  Then and Now".

Refreshments will be served.  All are welcomed to attend.

No Meeting in December 2012

We will not meet in December so that everyone can enjoy the holidays with their families.  The Friends of Silverbrook Cemetery will meeting again January 17, 2013 for our Annual Open House.
