Rosenberger, Myrna N.

MRS. FLOYD (Myrna) ROSENBERGER
April 26 1895-November 13, 1948


    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Kiger funeral home for Mrs. Myrna N. Rosenberger, 53, who died suddenly about 8:30 pm. Saturday at her home on South Fifteenth street in Niles Township.
    The Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate at services, and burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.  Friends are being received at the funeral home.
    Mrs. Rosenberger was  born in Benton Harbor April 26, 1895 and came to Niles . .[illegible] . . . June 18, 1913, in South Bend, Ind., she was married to Floyd Rosenberger, who survives.
    Also surviving are her mother, [illegible] Benton Harbor, three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Quick, Mrs. Audrey Dittmar, and Mrs. Ethelyn Masten, all of Niles; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Leo LaCombe, Kalamazoo; Ralph, Chicago; David and Milton, St. Joseph; and two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Jewel and Mrs. Thelma Seal, both of Benton Harbor.
    Women of the Moose, of which Mrs. Rosenberger was a member will meet at the funeral home at 12:45  p.m. Tuesday to attend the services.

    William H. Maunder, 75, of 1364 Regent street, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at Pawating hospital. He had been ill only a few hours.
    A lifetime resident of Niles, he was born here on April 19, 1873.  He was retired.  Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. E.J. Liebetrau and Mrs. Kenneth Kloko; two grand-nephews, William and Richard Liebetrau; and a brother, John Maunder, all of Niles.
    Friends may call at the Kiger funeral home where services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Percy D. Jones, pastor of the Trinity Episcopal church, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Maunder was a member of the Niles Elks lodge.


Marsh, Mabel

Mabel Marsh
1892- August 13, 1893

    The 17 month's old child of Mr. and Mrs. E. Marsh, who died at Joliet, Ill., Sunday, Aug. 13, was buried yesterday from the home of C.G. Marsh, of this place, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Retan attending.

HOLD FUNERAL HERE


    The body of Mrs. Mable Marsh, 57, who died Thursday night at Windsor, Can., will arrive in Niles Sunday night and will be taken to the Rutherford funeral home were[sic] services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon.
    Elmer Higgins, C.S.B., South Bend, will conduct a Christian Science service.  Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
    The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry Edmunds, Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. D.M. Carlisle, Buchanan, and Miss Ruby Blanche Camfield, South Bend; and two brothers, Leroy K. Camfield, Jamestown, N.Y., and Frederick H. Camfield, Chicago.

MARSH SERVICES HELD

    Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Carlisle, Mrs. H.P. Binns and Mr. and Mr. [sic] Jay Glover were in Niles Monday where they attended the funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Marsh, who died Thursday at Windsor, Canada.  Mrs. Marsh will be remembered here by many, as she had visited here each summer for the past fifty years.

Funeral arrangements by Halbritter Funeral Home are incomplete for Betty J. Marsh, 66, of 1128 Fifth st., Niles, who died at 4:30 a.m. Monday at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Md., following an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 23, 1926, in Niles. She is survived by her husband John M. Marsh.

Marsh, Betty M. (Westfall)

    Mrs. Betty M. Marsh, 49, of 2699 US-12 East, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday at her home. She had been ill since 1950.
    Mrs. March was born June 22, 1918 in Calvin Township, Cass County and had lived here all her life.
    She is survived by her husband, Herbert; two sons, Lee of Dowagiac and Lynn of Niles; four grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Mary Westfall of Edwardsburg, four brothers, Early Westfall, Lewis Westfall and Leo Westfall, of Edwardsburg and Garth Westfall of Niles; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Smith, Shipshewana, Ind., and Mrs. Laura M. Lennox, South Bend.
    Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:30 pm.  Monday at the Pifer Funeral Home, with Neil Crapo, pastor of the Rosewarne Bibile Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Friends will be received after 7 pm.. today at the funeral home.

Marsh, Herbert

Herbert Marsh
May 27, 1916-February 4, 1989


    Herbert Marsh, 72, 2355 U.S. 12 E., Niles died Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2:18 a.m. at Pawating Hospital after a sudden illness.
    He was born May 27, 1916 in Buchanan and lived his lifetime in the area.  He retired in 1972 from Clark Equipment Co.
    On Feb. 10, 1939 in Berrien Center he married Betty Westfall. She died in May, 1968. He then married Mary Lou Holbert Oct. 12, 1968 in Niles. She survives.
    Also surviving are: a son, Lee of Kalamazoo and a daughter Lynn of Bremen, Ind.; two brothers, Clarence of Galien and Thomas of Buchanan; a sister Mildred Strauss of Three Oaks; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
    Services are Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pifer-Smith Funeral Home.  The Rev. Robert Frietas of the Bertrand Bible Church will conduct the services. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the Bertrand Bible Church.
