Mrs. Fred Weaver Passes Away After Prolonged Illness
Mrs. Fred Weaver, 107 Union Place, died at 11:30 o'clock on New Year's day after a prolonged illness from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Weaver was born in Germany, May 24, 1851. She came to Niles when she was eight years old, and had since resided here. She was married on November 19, 1870, to Fred Weaver, who survives her, as do also four children who are Mrs. Arthur Bachman, Charles and John Weaver, of Niles, and Mrs. Fred Vreeland, of Dowagiac. A sister and brother, Mrs. Eli Leach and Lewis Miller, both of Niles, also survive.
The funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon and at 2:30 o'clock from the Evangelical church of which the deceased had long been a faithful and consistent worker. Rev. John Schurman will officiate. Burial will take place in Silver Brook Cemetery. The deceased was well known and highly esteemed.

Funeral Services Monday
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon for Mrs. Fred Weaver, in West Niles. Rev. John Schurman conducted the services in the Evangelical church of which the deceased had long been a faithful member. Burial took place in Silver Brook cemetery.
