DEATHS

Died suddenly, in this village, at half past 8 o'clock last evening, Mrs. EMILY, wife of Benjamin Griswold, aged 24 years.

The funeral will take place to-morrow, at half past 10 o'clock at the Presbyterian church.

See on these ruby lips the trembling breath.
These cheeks now fading at the blast of death;
Cold is the breast which warme'd the world before,
And those love darting eyes must roll no more.

She's gone! forever gone! the king of terrors
Lays his rude hands upon her lovely limbs,
And blasts her beauties with his icy breath.
