W. M. Linsemier, 71, is stricken at home
Passes away at Grant Street, Residence after many years illness.
William M. Linsenmier, 70, died (Jan. 27, 1933) last evening at 8 ‘clock in his home, 206 Grant Street. He had been in ill health for 25 years and for the last thee years had been confined to his bed. Mr. Linsenmier was born on Feb. 24, 1862 on a farm three miles southwest of Niles. He was married to Sarah Meyers, daughter of Chris and Mary Meyers, deceased on Feb. 20, 1889 at Niles. She survives him also three daughters, Mrs. Emma Linsenmier, Mrs. Sherman Frizzel and Mrs. Frank Schmbacker, all of Niles. Mrs. Gertrude Huffman, another daughter, died 12 years ago. Besides the widow and children he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Daniel Nieb of West Niles and five brothers, Henry of Montesano, Wash, John and Albert of South Bend, Charles of Niles and Fred Linsenmier of Buchanan, also by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Linsemier had spent his entire life in this community and had engaged in farming until his health failed him. He then moved his family to Niles. He was a highly respected resident of the community.
The body will be at the home from 12 o’clock tomorrow until 12 o’clock on Monday. The funeral sevices will be held at 3 o’clock in Monday afternoon in the Price and Kiger Funeral Home. The Rev. M.R. Everett, pastor of the Evangelical Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Silverbrook Cemetery.
