DEATH TAKES TOLL OF THREE IN NILES OVER WEEK-END
Death claimed three Niles residents over the weekend . . .
Jerry Norman
Jerry Norman, 82, died Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the home his daughter, Mrs. William LaBelle, 309 N. Second street. Fourteen years ago Mr. Norman fell and broke several ribs and sustained other injuries, and had never since regained his health. For the past five months he has been confined to his bed for the greater part of the time.
He was born in Miami county, Indiana, September 26, 1843. He is survived by his wife who is at Mrs. LaBelle's home and by 11 children. The latter are Mrs. LaBelle, Niles, J.N. Norman and Ed Norman, Battle Creek; Earl, Emery, Mrs. Lizzie Hodges and Mrs. Fern Parrish, South Haven' Perry, Kalamazoo; Mrs. Blanche Matiford, St. James, North Dakota; Mrs. Della Noyes, Escanaba, and Mrs. Lewis Squires, Niles.
The deceased was a member of Odd Fellow Lodge, No. 540 at Macy, Ind.
The funeral plans have not been completed.

LOCALS: Funeral Tomorrow
The funeral services for Jerry Norman will be conducted at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William LaBelle, 309 N. Second street. Rev. L.E. Conner, of Cleveland, Ohio, will conduct the services. Burial will take place in Silver Brook cemetery.
