News in Brief: OLD RESIDENT DEAD
Death removed a pioneer resident of Niles last evening at 7 o'clock when Mrs. Angie Moore died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Skalla, 103 South Lincoln avenue. Mrs. Moore was 86 years old. After many years of residence in Niles, Mr. and Mrs. Moore moved to Manchester, Ia. Later, they lived in Grand Rapids or until Mr. Moore died six years ago. Since then Mrs. Moor had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Skalla. Her death followed several weeks of illness from complications arising from old age. She is survived by two daughters and one son, who are Mrs. Skalla and Henry Moore of Niles, and Mrs. Richard Howard of Grand Rapids. The latter has been in the city for 10 days assisting to care for her mother. A brother, Henry Austin, also survives Mrs. Moore. He is critically ill in the Soldiers' home in Grand Rapids. The body is at the Troost and Augustine undertaking rooms with Undertaker Paul Skalla in charge. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Troost and Augustine chapel.
