Mrs. Myrtle Meyers, 75, 1245 S. 14th St., died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday in the Berrien County Hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Meyers was born Aug. 20, 1885, near Buchanan and had lived her lifetime in and around this community.
Surviving are: her husband, William; three sons, William Meyers, Jr., Clarence Tuttle, Elkhart, Ind., and Claude Pennington, also Elkhart, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Cloyes, Jones; a step-son, Lawrence Meyers, Ionia; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lucille Choleva, Benton Harbor, and Mrs. Edith Higganbothan, In Hawaii, and a niece, Mrs. Arvilla Jack, Rock Island, ill.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Pifer Funeral Home here wit the Rev. Gordon Everett, pastor of the First Evangelical United brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home.
