Mrs. Madge Pretz, 67, 1007 Edwards St., died Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Pawating Hospital, where she had been a patient seven days. She had been ill two weeks.
Mrs. Pretz was born June 4, 1895, in Avilla, Ind. She came to Niles from Rome City, Ind., and had been a resident here since 1941.
Survivors include her husband, Christian Pretz Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Lutin, Niles; a sister, Mrs. Edward Shutt, Brimfield, Ind.; a brother, Cecil Welburn, also of Brimfield; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. At the Kiger Funeral Home. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
